On World Ocean Day, people around our blue planet celebrate and honor the ocean, which connects us all.

A healthy world ocean is critical to our survival. The ocean is important because it generates most of the oxygen we breathe, helps feed us, regulates our climate, cleans the water we drink, offers a variety of potential medicines, and provides limitless inspiration!

This year, the Aquarium will be focusing our conservation message on plastic pollution and solutions for the everyday person.

11AM- Animal Encounter- Wild Encounters Stage
11:30AM- Seahorse Chat- Discovery Rig Exhibit
12:30PM- Moon Jelly Exhibit Chat- Aquarium Entry
1PM- Animal Encounter- Wild Encounters Stage
1:30PM- Story Time- Reel to Real Room
2PM – Lionfish Exhibit Chat- Sunken Temple Exhibit
2:30PM- Fish Feeding- Sunken Temple Exhibit
3PM- Coral Reef Exhibit Chat- Shipwreck Exhibit

Downtown Aquarium is a 500,000 gallon aquatic wonderland with a full service restaurant, an upscale bar, a fully equipped ballroom, aquatic & geographic exhibits, shopping and a variety of rides and amusements! We have it all!
